Just wanted to give a shout out to the winner of The Hazean’s 2008 Survival League: Mr. Glenn Moffatt.

Claiming only that he is one lucky dude, Glenn used the Jets in week 8 to stand alone at the top of the heap. And it was not without drama, as the Jets needed a late touchdown by Brett Favre to survive against Kansas City.

It took all of eight weeks to find a winner. Here are Glenn’s picks for each week of the regular season:

Still a little hungover after last night. The wife decided we needed to drink vodka — lots of it — during the LSU-Florida game last night.

Turned out to be wise advice since the Tigers took such a pounding, but it does not feel as good this morning. Now, however, it is time to focus on today’s NFL action and fantasy football in particular.

I will be talking start/sit advice and injury updates in the live chat prior to kickoff, then maybe hanging out for a little while to discuss some of the early action while I listen to the Saints-Raiders game.

It is near midseason in fantasy football leagues, which means fantasy owners are starting to make preparations for a postseason run. That also means fantasy owners are making some tough roster decisions on a weekly basis.

Time for The Hazean to step in and offer more help making those tough start/sit choices.

Starting tomorrow, I will be hosting live chats on Sunday mornings prior to kickoff of the 1 p.m. (EST) games via Skype. I will be giving some last-minute roster advice, talking about injuries heading into the games, discussing tantalizing matchups and telling you what to watch for as the games unfold on Sundays.
