A little history
The Hazean is a scion of the Haze Fantasy Football Group, a club that began in the late 1990s. The 12-member league continues today as a two-player keeper league and The Hazean was started to complement the league’s growth and direction.
But the blog has transcended the league and become much, much more than a gathering place for its members. Thanks to you guys, the readers, the blog has taken off to become one of the leaders in the fantasy football blogging niche. Couldn’t have done it without you, thanks again!
The best part about The Hazean is that it is for everyone! Amateurs, experts, geeks and jocks … if you play fantasy football, The Hazean can benefit you in some way.

Meet the authors
Michael McNeil is a Geography graduate from Louisiana State University. Though he works as a GIS Technician in Akron, Ohio, his true passion is writing — Michael spent most of his college career writing sports stories for The Daily Reveille and The Advocate.
Michael has served as the commissioner of Haze since the league’s inception, has the highest winning percentage of all its owners and won his first Haze Championship in 2007. His favorite NFL team is the New Orleans Saints and favorite player — obviously — is Reggie Bush.

Blaine Clancy contributes often to The Hazean and it is about time he got mentioned as an author. Clancy graduated from Louisiana State University and now works as a city engineer in Slidell, La.
He has played and coached many sports and participates in any fantasy league available, including the Haze Fantasy Football League. Clancy has yet to win a Haze title despite boasting one of the best winning percentages of all Haze owners. His day is sure to come soon.

Marc Budyach is a long-time Haze Fantasy Football League member who contributes regularly to the blog. He lives in Baton Rouge, La., and is a father of two beautiful baby girls.
Budyach is a huge New Orleans Saints, Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls fan who always has his nose in something involving sports. He won his first Haze Championship in 2005 thanks to Larry Johnson’s break-out campaign.
