Grab Bag, fantasy football, waiver wire

New week, new names. Let’s get right to it.

Quarterbacks

Philip Rivers, Chargers
New offensive system seems to working for Rivers and the Chargers’ passing game so far.

Sam Bradford, Rams
Is this finally the year?!? I’m so excited. #teamsambradford

Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins
Posting solid numbers. Consider as a bye week starter only, still.

Running Backs

James Starks, Packers
Eddie Lacy suffered a concussion, Starks ran wild. Not sure how long Lacy will be out, but Starks worth a flier if you’re desperate for a short-term option.

Jason Snelling/Jacquizz Rodgers, Falcons
RBBC if Steven Jackson misses time. I like Snelling a little more than Rodgers.

Bernard Pierce, Ravens
Should be owned in all leagues, especially now with Ray Rice’s injury.

Isaiah Pead, Rams
Who knew Isaiah was so hard to spell? I had to look it up and still didn’t believe what I was typing. Opportunity in St. Louis to develop as feature back.

Joique Bell, Lions
Should be owned in all leagues. If not, must add.

Wide Receivers

Marlon Brown, Ravens
Rookie WR. Still, he’s the clear No. 2 in Baltimore now.

DeAndre Hopkins, Texans
Stepping up as the Texans’ No. 2 WR. Beware rookie WRs, though.

Chris Givens, Rams
Rams’ receivers went wild yesterday (Pettis and Austin, too) but I think Givens still is the one to own.

Kendall Wright, Titans
Could be a PPR monster any given week. Wish he had a more consistent quarterback.

Eddie Royal, Chargers
Surely he cannot maintain this pace, right?
