Back in the saddle, fantasy owners. Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving holiday. Christmas is right around the corner, better hope Santa Claus remembers to pack all those fantasy championship trophies in his sack this winter.

In order to guarantee yours, make sure to work the waiver wire this week ahead of the fantasy playoffs. Some of these players could just be lumps of coal, but others could be diamonds.

QBs

Sam Bradford, Rams [308-3]

Matt Cassel, Chiefs [233-4]

RBs

Toby Gerhart, Vikings [76-1]

Chris Ivory, Saints [38-2]

Maurice Morris, Lions [55-2]

Rashad Jennings, Jaguars [53-1]

WRs

Jacoby Ford, Raiders [108-1]

Davone Bess, Dolphins [6-111]

Ben Obomanu, Seahawks [5-159-1]

Earl Bennett, Bears [4-56-2]

Here are today’s great reads:

  • Texans’ wide receiver Andre Johnson got into an on-the-field fist-fight with Cortland Finnegan yesterday. Both players were ejected. Now, fantasy owners need to monitor Johnson’s status for Thursday night as there is a good chance he could be suspended by the league. [The Big Lead]
  • Two of the biggest surprises in fantasy football this year: Running backs Arian Foster and Peyton Hillis. Both have been top-tier players in the fantasy game. Foster was drafted in most leagues, but Hillis was a waiver wire gem. Probably the free agent pick-up of the year in your league. [FanHouse]
