Start & Sit, fantasy football, start, sit, advice

A very succinct start & sit today. Between Christmas parties, packing, Colts-Jaguars, laundry and preparing for today’s 6 a.m. flight to New Orleans, there was little time for story-writing last night.

But I did have the time to mention this week’s best starts and sits, which you can read below.

If you came looking for some Friday injury updates, I have none to share. But plenty of other websites can provide all of the injury news you can handle for this weekend’s action:

Good luck to all in the fantasy playoffs this weekend! Start & sit advice for week 15 after the jump.

Start ‘em

Quarterbacks

Matt Schaub @ Rams
Schaub and the Texans, indoors, against a team that did not practice yesterday because of Swine Flu. Gotta love it.

Kurt Warner @ Lions
If you survived his putrid performance against the 49ers last week, he should bounce back nicely for you this weekend.

Running Backs

Jamaal Charles v. Browns
Charles has the opportunity to become the hero of the 2009 fantasy postseason after a stellar round one performance. The matchup sets up well for Charles.

Knowshon Moreno v. Raiders
The Broncos should attack Oakland with the run and Moreno could get more work than usual with Correll Buckhalter ailing.

Wide Receivers

Terrell Owens v. Patriots
If the weather holds up enough in Buffalo, TO could have another solid day for fantasy owners.

Anquan Boldin @ Lions
Most fantasy owners consider him a must-start, but I wanted to mention that with Larry Fitzgerald hobbled Q could have a monster game.

Tight End

Zach Miller @ Broncos
The Oakland WRs may not have a great day, but Miller could be Charlie Frye’s crutch in this game.

Sit ‘em

Quarterbacks

Tom Brady @ Bills
Again, this does not necessarily mean you should bench Brady. But if he has a sour day, you should not be too surprised.

Carson Palmer @ Chargers
A bad week could get much worse for Cincy on the road this weekend. Palmer has been struggling lately.

Running Backs

DeAngelo Williams/Jonathan Stewart v. Vikings
Most owners cannot afford to bench Williams, a stud. Bad matchup this weekend could lead to subpar performances from the Panthers’ backfield.

Matt Forte @ Ravens
Many a Matt Forte owner did not make the fantasy postseason. Those who did, however, did not make it this far because of him.

Wide Receivers

Roddy White @ Jets
Just call it the Revis factor. White will be blanketed by fantasy killer Darrelle Revis all day long.

Louis Murphy @ Broncos
There may be some fantasy owner out there using Murphy as a flex play or WR3 on a regular basis. Not a good choice this weekend on the road with Charlie Frye behind center.

Tight End

JerMichael Finley @ Steelers
You have to expect the Steelers to bounce back on defense at some point this year, right?
