Sad news out of the Charlotte area last night: Bengals’ wide receiver Chris Henry is on life support after falling out of the back of a pick-up truck yesterday.

Henry finally appeared to have his off-the-field issues behind him at the start of the 2009 season. After a tumult-free offseason, Henry had a gigantic preseason for the Bengals that failed to transition into much on-the-field success this year. He was placed on injured reserve after suffering a serious arm injury several weeks ago.

But none of that really matters at this point with Henry fighting for his life in the hospital. Our prayers are with Henry and his family this morning.

Not the best way to start the day, I know. The regularly scheduled programming is below. Also, check back in an hour or so for Thursday Night Football start & sit advice.
