Did anybody see that game playing out like it did?  I know I didn’t.  Hopefully nobody got burned too bad by starting Big Ben or Mendenhall.  That makes 5 losses in a row for last year’s Super Bowl champs.  Their playoff chances are not looking good.

Here are today’s great reads:

  • This is a crucial week for many fantasy owners, and starting players who are injured/inactive is a definitive way to see your season come to an in.  Check the Injury Report to find if any of your studs won’t be playing this weekend. [NFL.com]
  • Rankingsfor this upcoming weekend games.  Of course this is all just an opinion, but these rankings might be able to help some with roster making decisions. [Rotoworld]
  • During the Washington vs. New Orleans game last weekend, the camera panned in on a Saints fan, who despite being down in the 4th quarter, was cheering on the team enthusiastically.  A site has been dedicated to this mystery man to find his origins and name.  [FindTheUnknownWhoDat]
