Start & Sit, fantasy football, start, sit, advice

Hey! Fantasy owners! Remember that there is football on TV tonight.

Set your rosters!

The Thursday football schedule did not end with the three-course meal of pigskin served up by Thanksgiving Day last week. Rookie Mark Sanchez and the Jets travel to Toronto — yes, Toronto — to face Terrell Owens and the suddenly-found-some-offense Bills.

Chances are pretty good that postseason-bound or postseason-aspiring fantasy teams have a few players in this game tonight. For those aspiring to continue playing meaningful fake football, the end of the Bills’ offensive hibernation offers a few intriguing options.

Start ‘em

Thomas Jones, RB, Jets
Jones, despite his “old age”, continues to be a model of fantasy consistency. He should feast on a bad Bills’ run D.

Fred Jackson, RB, Bills
Now that Marshawn Lynch has proven to be a waste of space, Jackson should get the bulk of the work again.

Lee Evans, WR, Bills
Because Terrell Owens decided to earn his paycheck the last few weeks, he warrants more attention from the Jets’ pass D. That should free up some single coverage for Evans.

Sit ‘em

Terrell Owens, WR, Bills
He has been a beast of late, but Darrelle Revis has been beastly all season long. Revis is the new black among shutdown cornerbacks.

Mark Sanchez, QB, Jets
Is anyone trusting this rookie quarterback other than Rex Ryan these days? Only in deep two-quarterback leagues, I presume.

Marshawn Lynch, RB, Bills
As mentioned above, Lynch has done nothing except suppress Fred Jackson since returning from suspension. No longer according to the interim Bills’ regime.
