Rookie Report, fantasy football, NFL, rookies

The race is heating up back at the top of the Rookie Report.

This season 10 weeks in with 7 weeks still left to play. There is plenty of time for every rookie to have an opportunity to make his way to the top, but this is the top 5 at this point in the season:

1. Knowshon Moreno, RB, Broncos - Moreno bounced back with an 18-carry, 98-yard performance against the Redskins. Moreno can build on that performance and create some distance from him and second place with a clutch performance against the Chargers this Sunday.

2. Percy Harvin, WR, Vikings - Harvin finished with four catches for 53 yards while his teammate Sydney Rice stole the show with over 200 yards receiving. Harvin still is hands down the best rookie receiver so far this season making him No. 2 on the list.

3. Austin Collie, WR, Colts - Collie still leads all rookies with 38 catches this season and has been a great performer for the Colts in his first season. Collie is sure-handed and gets plenty of looks because of his ability to beat the nickel corner, but he needs to start finding the endzone again.

4. Jeremy Maclin, WR, Eagles - Maclin is coming up big for Donovan McNabb and the Eagles. He finished with six catches for 76 yards and one touchdown against the Chargers last Sunday. Maclin should only get more looks as he continues to shine for the Eagles.

5. Mike Wallace, WR, Steelers - Wallace did not have a big performance against the Bengals tough defense, but the Steelers continued to try and feed Wallace the ball in the redzone. Wallace is a big play-making receiver that Big Ben always wanted.

Last week’s rookie rankings:
1. Percy Harvin
2. Knowshon Moreno
3. Austin Collie
4. Mike Wallace
5. Mark Sanchez
