Another weekend of fantasy football in the books with just one game to go tonight between the Dolphins and Jets. And it is going to be an important game from a fantasy standpoint for some owners, yours truly included.

In my main league, I find myself needing seven points tonight from Ronnie Brown to pull out the win. Even though his last three weeks have been stellar, something about tonight’s match-up with the Jets makes me a little nervous about that number.

So what I am trying to say is this: Good luck to all of those needing help tonight to win.

Plenty of interesting names on the waiver wire this week. Make sure to check out a few of these guys:

  • Miles Austin, WR, Cowboys (10-250-2)
  • Jeremy Maclin, WR, Eagles (6-142-2)
  • Eddie Royal, WR, Broncos (10-90)
  • Kyle Orton, QB, Broncos (330-2)
  • Sammy Morris, RB, Patriots (68; 2-39)
  • Austin Collie, WR, Colts (8-97-2)

Here are today’s great reads:

  • Mike Sims-Walker did his fantasy owners no favor yesterday by being a healthy scratch because of a violation of team rules. Thanks a lot buddy! [ProFootballTalk]
  • A look at all of the wide receivers around the league who absolutely went off yesterday. For the first time this season, I was a proud Roddy White owner. [The Fantasy Football Geek Blog]
  • Fantasy players worthy of cutting after the conclusion of week 4. Hopefully fantasy owners avoided either of the quarterbacks in the awful Browns-Bills game. [Bruno Boys]
  • More waiver wire advice for this week. Miles Austin is going to be a very popular name once again, but what happens in Dallas when Roy Williams steps on the field again? [FanHouse]
  • At this point in the season, did anyone really think the Bengals would be first in the AFC North with wins against the Steelers and Ravens already on their resume? [Shutdown Corner]
