Daily Haze, fantasy football, NFL, sports news

So yesterday was pretty slow in terms of fantasy football, probably because Brett Favre and Michael Vick have taken over the TV and internets.

I took the liberty to update The Hazean’s fantasy football mock draft database with some of my extra time. A bunch of mock drafts have been posted lately and some of them are for different formats, so make sure to visit the sites for more details.

With the month of August right around the corner, it is time to start banging out some legitimate fantasy rankings. I probably will take a week or two to soak in training camp and see if any injuries happen, but you guys can expect to see some fantasy rankings very, very soon.

Time to start getting those cheat sheets ready!

Oh, one more thing: Still a few days to submit your best fantasy football team names for our July contest. Jump on it!

Here are today’s great reads:

  • Need something to wear on draft day? Win a fantasy football t-shirt from the guys who specialize in making them. [Art of the Fan]
  • Fantasy owners are generally a little bearish on guys like Terrell Owens because of the potential drama, but there are some non-diva players to worry about as well. [FanHouse]
  • Now that Brett Favre is out of the picture — at least for today — the fantasy fallout in Minnesota mostly affects receivers Bernard Berrian, Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice. [Fantasy Guru]
