Any Trent Edwards fans around here?
The Bills added Terrell Owens via free agency. Marshawn Lynch is back in the fold, though he is dealing with off-the-field issues. Fred Jackson is a decent fill-in for any time Lynch misses. The front office brought in Shawn Nelson, the first legitimate pass-catching tight end in Buffalo in quite some time. And — oh yeah — Lee Evans still is in the fold.
It certainly is not the worst cast of characters for a maturing quarterback who passes the eye test.
But is it enough to put Edwards over the top in terms of fantasy? Not saying he is going to be a reliable No. 1 guy, but this could be his year to stick on rosters as a decent QB2.
