It just would not have felt right had LSU took the first two games of the College World Series.

I mean, sure, I would have been ecstatic. But really, there is nothing like a deciding game in any series. Be in game sevens in the NBA and MLB playoffs, the Super Bowl or — in this case — the CWS, the drama and electricity for such an event are unrivaled in sports.

OK maybe this all is just a lame rationalization by a pro-LSU guy for why it was good the Tigers lost last night. Yeah OK, that is definitely what it is.

Whatever, GEAUX TIGERS!!!
