A quarterback of late 30s may be heading to Minnesota this spring, but it is not rumored to be — at least currently — Brett Favre. No, instead the quarterback rumored to head to the frozen North this week is none other than Kurt Warner.
The Cardinals opted not to throw the franchise tag on Warner and a new deal seems less likely at this point. Although Kurt claimed he would not want to play anywhere else next year, something tells me handing off to a guy named Adrian Peterson 20 times a game could be pretty tempting.

I don’t see Warner playing anywhere else. If the Cards don’t sign him, he’ll probably retire. It’s a lot different to come back for another year at his age when you aren’t throwing to Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin.
