Daily Haze

The Super Bowl is just over a week away, but that will not stop the pre-game speculation on this year’s NFL champion.

Anyone set up their Super Bowl squares yet? Five bucks is about all I throw in on the Super Bowl — not a huge risk taker with money, as you can tell — but betting on the Super Bowl is a pretty big deal.

As it stands, the Steelers are about a touchdown favorite over the Cardinals next weekend, which is absolutely no surprise to me. If I got some good Super Bowl odds on the Steelers, I probably would lay down some money … but that a’int going to happen with the best defense in the NFL going against a first-timer in the big game.

Does anyone really think the Cardinals can shock the nation?
