Daily Haze

It looks like Cowboys’ running back Marion Barber will miss today’s game against the Steelers.

Barber injured his foot on Thanksgiving Day and was unable to fully participate in practice this week. However, it was assumed — until mid-Saturday, at least — that he would suit up for Dallas today. But ESPN’s Ed Werder was the first to report yesterday that Barber would be out.

All this just a few days after we told you to avoid Barber this weekend. And for what it is worth, I do not like him in any of the Cowboys remaining games.

Tashard Choice gets the start for the banged up Cowboys and will likely get the majority of the carries, being that he is the only running back on the roster anyone knows at this point. I would count on the bulk of the offense falling on the shoulders of Tony Romo, Terrell Owens and Jason Witten.
