Daily Haze

I know the Rams lost again yesterday, this time to the Miami Dolpins, but is any one player more important to his team right now than Steven Jackson?

Without SJax in the lineup, the Rams were getting wiped by everyone. But with Jackson back in the fold yesterday, St. Louis finally showed some life on offense which kept some of the pressure off the defense.

Not saying that Jackson will or should win the MVP award, but he certainly is THE St. Louis offense.

Here are today’s great reads:

  • Now that the Brett Favre-to-retire questions have started ramping up, could Matt Cassel be New York bound? [FanHouse]
  • I hate to mess with tradition, but if the Lions cannot put a good product on the field soon maybe Detroit should lose the Thanksgiving Day game. [ProFootballTalk]
