The Grab Bag hit the snooze on the alarm clock this week, and is getting a late start.  Hopefully, your team has clinched a playoff spot, or is still in the running for a playoff spot as many leagues come into the final week of their regular season.  Hit the jump, to find some guys that will get you over the playoff hump…

Derek Anderson (QB, Cleveland Browns) - Brady Quinn is done for this season, so the recently benched Anderson takes over again for the Browns.  Anderson has been woeful at times this season, but if you are desperate for a QB play, scoop him up.

Pierre Thomas (RB, New Orleans Saints) - More than likely, Pierre will have been grabbed by somebody already.  However, with Reggie coming back, there is a chance he could get dropped.  If so, pull the trigger on him and stash him away for next week.  The NFL will be ruling on the Deuce McAllister’s diet pill situation and all signs are pointing toward a suspension.  If that is the case, Thomas will get the majority of goal line carries for the Saints.

Lorenzo Booker (RB, Philadelphia Eagles) - Booker could get the start if Brian Westbrook doesn’t play this weekend.  Westy has missed two straight days of practice with a hurt ankle.  Even if Westbrook did play, Booker should see some significant action.  With Correll Buckhalter done for the season, Booker could be a great guy to stash away on your bench for the playoffs if Westy injures his ankle any more.

Melwede Moore (RB, Pittsburgh Steelers) - Parker is once again on the injury report with an ailing knee.  The injury is being called knee inflammation and it will be futher examined later in the week.  If Parker were to have any setbacks with his injury, Moore would undoubtedly get the start as he has proven to be a capable backup.
