Daily Haze

Despite getting yanked against the Ravens on Sunday, Donovan McNabb will be back under center again this week for the Eagles.

Not sure if that is a good thing or not for his fantasy owners. If you have little or no help on your bench, this at least gives you a glimmer of hope for something from the quarterback position. Otherwise, I would be very wary of using the now-leashed McNabb the rest of the way.

As for McNabb being back under center for the Eagles again next season … well, that remains to be seen, but his Philly days may be over.

Here are today’s great reads:

  • Fantasy owners do not need to have their best players facing these defenses down the stretch. [Roto Arcade]
  • Pickings are slim on the waiver wire at this point in the season, but there may be some hope. [Hatty Waiver Wire Guru]
  • Luckily I have played in civil fantasy leagues. That is not to say they have not been competitive, but you have to draw the line somewhere. [RotoNation]
  • Denver’s defense has been making everyone look good lately, which is great news for Brett Favre owners. [Bruno Boys]
