How dare ESPN suggest that Eli Manning is better than his brother Peyton. I mean just because Eli beat the unbeatable Patriots in the Super Bowl and has his team off to an undefeated start to the 2008 season while Peyton is wallowing in mediocrity, that does not mean Eli is better than Peyton. Right?
I think it is a lot like weather and climate. Eli, the weather, is really, really good right now. But Peyton, the climate, has been really good for a long period of time. Until Eli’s goodness becomes a long-term trend, I think it is a little unfair to suggest that Eli is a better quarterback than his brother.
