New feature time.

I have been getting a good number of emails every week asking for start/sit advice. I have no problem with giving out some advice, and I hope that it helps of course.

So I decided to make a story out of it in the hopes that others will come forward and email some start/sit questions every week. If you need help, I am glad to give my opinion on your roster and the matchups your players face.

David asks:

Couple more questions…

Need to start two out of these three guys for my 2nd WR and FLEX:
Felix Jones (Cincy)
Patrick Crayton (Cincy)
Steve Breaston (Buffalo)

Started Jones last week out of desperation and his big ZERO almost cost me the W, but Crayton gave me more than I expected.

I figure if Boldin is going to be out (which I have to imagine he will be for at least a couple weeks) Breaston might work well… but it’s also against Buffalo.

What are your thoughts?

Felix Jones was mysteriously absent from last weekend’s game, and the Cowboys basically took the running game away. I think they bring it back this week, so give Jones another chance.

At the other spot, I would go with Breaston only if Boldin is out. Otherwise, go with your Cowboys.

Oj asks:

Good site by the way, just a few questions, having a hard time with my rb and wr options this week, any changes you would make?
rb- s slaton vs indy
rb2- graham vs den
wr- a. johnson
wr- marshall
wr- jennings

BN
portis vs philly
boldin possibly out this week
R moss vs Sf
parker out the next two weeks

As tantalizing the matchups are that Slaton and Graham face this weekend, I think it would be silly to bench Portis in favor of one of those guys. Always start your studs. I would go with Slaton opposite Portis, as the Colts’ rushing defense has historically struggled without Bob Sanders in the lineup.

You definitely are solid at wide receiver. I would not change a thing there. What a luxury it must be to have such depth at your WR position that you can keep Randy Moss and Anquan Boldin on the bench and feel comfortable doing so!
