I know today is Labor Day and most people around this great nation are enjoying the time off work, hopefully have some nice weather and are firing up the grill for one of the final times this summer.

However, our brethren in Louisiana are getting hit by Hurricane Gustav today. It is no secret that I am a New Orleans/Baton Rouge boy. I love the New Orleans Saints, went to and graduate from Louisiana State University, and lived in a number of places in Southeast Louisiana. I saw my share of storms before this year, including hurricanes Andrew and Katrina, so I know what these people are going through today.

Just wanted to say my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Louisiana, especially my family and friends in the area!
