Internet rumor has it that Patriots’ pretty boy quarterback Tom Brady may miss the first two-to-four weeks of the regular season.
NFL Juice picked up an anonymous tip from a “reliable news source” that Brady could miss several games due to his mysterious foot injury. According to NFL Juice, the source has been right before when it came to an unsubstantiated rumor, so there could be something here.
Or not.
Bill Belichick is notorious for keeping news like this under wraps, so I doubt we will get any updates out of New England anytime soon. Still, I would be prepared if I were a Brady owner by scouring the waiver wire for a potential replacement. Kurt Warner comes to mind.
Ummm, I’m going to go out on a limb and say this report is a load of garbage. How many times was Brady listed as “Questionable” last year with a bad shoulder? And how many games did he start?
