Daily Haze

We all know by now that Brett Favre finally got traded from the Packers, and he is landing in the Big Apple. I hate to say it, but I told you so.

Yesterday I started thinking that whichever team did acquire him could then ship him to Minnesota, and maybe that is what was going on behind the scenes. But it would cost the Jets an awful lot, and I cannot imagine them doing it now.

Finally, we all can breathe a sigh of relief. All the Favre-to-Tampa, Favre-to-Minnesota, Favre-to-Mars rumors can cease and we can adjust our cheat sheets accordingly. We earlier prognosticated ranking Favre in the 7 - 10 area, but that was with Green Bay. I say low teens (13, 14) now. Also, Laverneus Coles and Jerricho Cotchery get a slight up-tick.
